"Chivo Ramirez" is a recurring character on "On My Block". He is portrayed by Emilio Rivera. A former member of the Santos gang, he currently works as a gardener and in the creation of fake identification cards. He lives in a safe house in a different district and works in Freeridge.

History []
Chivo used to be a member of the Santos gang and still wears a Santos chain on his chest. It is unknown if he remains an active member but he is often seen managing his own business. At some point in his past, the former members of the Santos that he knew all lost their lives including Lil' Ricky, his cousin, and the founder of the Santos.
Long after Lil' Ricky's "death,” Chivo continues to fund and place flowers at his grave regularly.
He was on the Freeridge marching band during his time in high school.
Physical Appearance []
Chivo is a man of average height and an intimidating aura. He is well built and has well kempt facial hair similar to other members of the Santos gang. He is mostly seen wearing a grey shirt and regular pants and a Santos gold chain around his neck.
Personality []
Chivo is known for his gnome obsession and slightly delusional outlook on life which might stem from the loss of individuals he used to know in violent cases. He believes the current Santos does not represent the founder's original wishes and helps hide Cesar Diaz from enemies, despite other Santos members turning him away.
Initially introduced as very intimidating, Chivo has shown considerable weakness towards his Gnome collection - specifically Julio, who he often talks to even in the presence of other characters. After Julio was shattered by Jamal Turner, he went into a mental shock resulting in a coma and hospitalization where Jamal broke into his hospital room and demanded Chivo to tell him what he knows about lil Ricky
He believes the Gnomes can speak, eat and that they have their own personalities and wishes. A trait later shared with Jamal Turner.
